Homecoming 2009 is set for the weekend of October 16-17. Band Alumni event registration will begin near the end of the summer, but it’s never too early to start booking hotel rooms and contacting other alumni.

The schedule for this year will likely be similar to last year, but we are trying to work in some additional activities that we hope everyone will enjoy.

As usual, we’ll be wearing the Mustang Band Alumni shirts, so if you don’t have one, order yours now!

We hope you all are recovered from Homecoming weekend. The band just finished their BandFest weekend (another looooong day on Saturday)… the band did great at both, the football game, and at the PAC.

There are three basketball games coming up next week which are during Cal Poly’s Thanksgiving Break – Len sent out sign up sheets to assemble a pep band for each of those games, but he is still looking to fill some spots. If any alumni are available and interested, the band would love to get your support/help!

The games are:

Wed 11/26 - call time 6pm
Fri 11/28 - call time 1pm
Sat 11/29 - call time 4pm – they will not do this game if they are hosting the
first round Football Playoff (they’ll find out late Sunday)
